While with us, your horse will be handled using natural training techniques. Your horse will get to interact with a herd and enjoy social interaction, which is so critically important for herd animals. Please contact us for a copy of our boarding contract and to be added to the waiting list for 2013.
We have found that people reach their goals faster when they are part of a supportive, cooperative community. We strive to create that experience for our boarders, people whose horses are in for training and our leasing students.

Training
At Lazy Acres Equines we understand that there are times that you need someone to train your horse. Our goal is always to develop both the horse and the human so that they compliment each other.
To accomplish this we offer a number of options. We work with each individual and each horse to create a plan. These plans generally involve boarding the horse with us, for these families we charge one price for lessons (for the horse or the person). The owner selects the number of lessons per week for the horse and for the person. Another approach is simply a monthly training fee, which includes board and 5 hours per week of training. Lessons for the person are then purchased separately.
We believe that both horses and humans progress when they are supported and developed in a knowledgeable and positive manner.
